This is the answer to what Inner Padded Cases should be.
We at EasternShape want you to enjoy using Forca even when you’re not carrying a PC. That is why we have designed the bag so that the inner padded case can be detached from the main bag. From the initial design stage, we reconsidered the true role of the Inner Padded case and aimed to create a small/light yet functional case. The E.S. Inner Case provides protection for the PC while ensuring its lightness and mobility.

The 5 conditions we expected from the E.S. Inner Case
1. The inner case should be close to the size of the PC.
2. Detachable and yet could be fixed firmly to the bag.
3. Protect the PC from unnecessary scratches.
4. Protect the PC from external pressure.
5. Protect the PC from external shocks.


1. The Inner case should be close to the size of the PC. - Smart Size
The Inner case is attachable by both a snap button and Velcro tape. You can remove your PC without having to take the inner case out. This inner case can also be removed from the main bag and be used in other bags as well. The flap for this inner case can be buttoned on to the back of the case so that the flap does not get in the way when using another bag. We recommend you to use it in other bags as well.
2. Detachable and yet could be fixed firmly to the bag. - Attachable/Detachable
  The inner case is attachable by both a snap button and Velcro tape. You can remove your PC without having to take the inner case out. This inner case can also be removed from the main bag and be used in other bags as well. The flap for this inner case can be buttoned on to the back of the case so that the flap does not get in the way when using another bag. We recommend you to use it in other bags as well.

3. Protect the PC from unnecessary scratches. - Scratch Protection
  PCs are always vulnerable to small scratches but this can be prevented by using this bag. The inner case is padded with a nylon made soft fabric. This fabric is often used for camera lens cases and will provide adequate protection for your PC. In order to further protect your PC from unnecessary scratches, we have used Velcro taping instead of a zipper to close the flap.

4. Protect the PC from external pressure. - Pressure Protection
  When you are carrying your PC around the largest threat is external pressure. For instance, when in a packed train, the external pressures from people’s bodies or elbows can be daunting. In these circumstances a digital camera or pen in your bag can act as a lethal threat to your PC. External pressures will be forced on to other hard objects in the bag and act as a sharp pressure point, which will then apply pressure on your PC screen, etc. Usually a urethane material is used to protect these pressure points but a certain thickness is usually required in order to provide adequate protection. This is usually the sacrifice one must make in terms of size and weight of the bag. Therefore, it is essential that the external pressure is not absorbed by the fabric but is spread towards the sides of the PC where it is usually most robust. In this case, it is better to use a hard board-like fabric rather than urethane. Steel of wood is usually ideal but they are too heavy. We have used a honeycomb-structured light plastic. This honeycombed board in the inner case will provide protection for your PC.

5. Protect the PC from external shocks. - Impact Protection
  When a bag carrying a PC is dropped from a high place, in most cases the PC will be damaged. In order to avoid such damage, it is usually necessary to have thick urethane foam that provides protection like the air in an inflatable rubber ring, or just plain good luck. Impact protection will always be a theme when making PC bags. Therefore, as this is a bag that is used every day, we tried an approach that did not sacrifice weight and size for protection. We tried to ensure that there was a right balance between protection and the amount of pressure that gets applied to the PC.
Firstly, the base of the bag is where the pressure is absorbed the most. The E.S. Inner case is a 1cm thick urethane pad. The inside is also lined with a nylon based cushioned fabric on all sides for added protection. There is also the honeycombed board. We have also put thought into the outer material of the bag, which should also help disperse pressure away from your PC.
